Do you follow book trends and bestsellers, or do you prefer hunting down lesser-known titles?
Because of my job I follow trends and keep up with bestsellers. But I also know about lesser known titles just in case a patron asks about it. Basically if it’s a YA or MG book you can best believe I want to or I do know about it.

I imagine being a librarian or bookseller means you have to know about the bestsellers! I don’t actively seek out the bestsellers or lesser knowns. I just go for whatever story grabs me and it’s not until later that I find out if it was on a list or not!
