Why I’m Waiting: I’m not a huge fan of anthologies, but this one line, “In Wild Tongues Can’t Be Tamed, writers from across the Latinx diaspora interrogate the different myths and stereotypes about this rich and diverse community,” made me add this to my TBR expeditiously. And then I noticed the line up and saw authors like Ibi Zoboi and Elizabeth Acevedo and Mark Oshiro and I knew I needed to have this in my life. (And let’s not forget that this cover is also EXCELLENT!) This is going to be a bomb anthology and I can’t wait to read it!

I use to read anthologies a lot in the early days before I had an established author list. Now it’s pick and choose which ones I read. I’ve a few in my pile already that are short stories from just one author that I want to read and another novella collection comes out this summer that I already preordered since it has 3 of my favorite authors in it! Hope you enjoy this one once you get to read it!
