Today’s Theme: My Ex is Marrying my Sister
I know I just used this, but I realized when I was writing my review for Shiloh’s book that these two had a hella weird thing in common lol Who knew that I would eat this trope up? lmao In this one her sister was a bitch and refused to see anything. Everything was right in front of her, but she purposely acted like she couldn’t see what was happening. And I was pissed that she didn’t let her sister have it because Lordt knows she deserved it. Idk how her sister even survived this book tbh because she should have been slapped into the next century.
This one was kind of weird because this was in a Spiritual Lit book lol But her sister was still a bitch too. She wasn’t as bad, but I think it was because she didn’t have time to be lol This book was over way too fast. But she DID say some of the same thing that Amerie from OFTW said, that she was jealous, that she was mad that it wasn’t her, etc. And that made me want to slap the piss out of her too. Girl, don’t nobody want either of their asses lol This was a weird situation, but it was so much fun to read. (LOL I keep thinking of the Tiktok sound, “if I had a nickel for every time this happened, I’d only have two nickels, but it’s weird that it happened twice right?”)
