These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!
Today’s Theme: Endometriosis Awareness Month!

Today’s topic kind of fell into my lap. I have been SO EXCITED for The Bridge Back to You that as soon as it popped up in my audio app, I downloaded it and listened. As it turns out, there was Endometriosis rep in it. I’ve actually read a couple books with endo rep, so I wanted to share those today. And to make it even better, it’s Women’s History Month AND I found out that it’s also Endometriosis Awareness Month! So today’s topic is Endo Warriors. In this book the rep felt so real. Having to change your eating to curb the flares. I loved that she showed it’s more than just “bad period pain.” I have PCOS and even I felt seen in this one. [This is an adult book and will be out on Tuesday 3/31/26]
This book shows more of the “before the diagnosis” and “with the diagnosis, but no help.” It showed how hard it was to get a diagnosis, it shows that even with one it’s hard to do anything else about it. It shows how hard it is for women with this disease and how it can seem even harder on a teen. It also shows how it presents itself differently in people. And all of it was brought to life in a non-preachy, fictional way. This book will shine a light on this chronic condition and help people be more empathetic to others, because you never really know what’s going on. [This is a YA book and is out now!]
Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.
More Than Just Period Pain

These are some more that I’ve read and enjoyed that have strong endo warriors as well. I hope you pick up one (OR ALL) of them!

So what do you think? Will you pick up one of these to learn more about endometriosis? Let me know in the comments!
