Today’s Theme: A Cupid Comeback?
This is a MG book with a Black MC. After not knowing who her dad is for 13 years, she finds out that her dad is Cupid and she has inherited his magic! But wow, the way she uses those powers is……… not great. But I mean, what did people think was going to happen when they gave this power to a 13 year old?! And like, you have the power to make people fall in love. Did you really think playing with people’s emotions and feelings would be easy? Also, I laughed so hard at this because girl you got mad at the wrong people. Why get mad at them? Wasn’t this your idea?
This is a YA book with trans rep ( non-binary and trans man according to Goodreads). Jude already knows that they’re a Cupid, but they also think they know everything there is to know about love too. But then they’re dropped into high school and they see they don’t know much of anything lol I can’t wait to see how this works out. I can’t wait to see how this all works out. Idk, a Cupid falling in love has got to be romantic or something lol I haven’t read this one yet, but I will as soon as the audio drops into my Libby account.
