TTT: Books That I Thought Showed the 5 Love Languages
Words of Affirmation

Lyrics about her and voice notes and text messages to each other. Reading these two books re-affirmed that this is one of my love languages as well lol
Physical Touch
“focused on expressing and receiving affection through physical contact, creating a sense of safety, security, and connection.”
Both of these have characters who said they dreamed of being touched by them or they were just always touching them by doing sweet things like rubbing the back of their neck on a plane.
Gifts
“thrives on the thought, effort, and intentionality behind a gesture rather than the monetary value”
Mav gave some bomb gifts. So much so that Hendrix actually let him give them to her. (Eventually) And omg the way Alex knew exactly what to give her at the end of the book was so sweet. He was a man of few words, but he took care of her when he needed to.
Quality Time
“receiving or giving undivided attention, where a person feels most loved when their partner is fully present, attentive, and engaged in shared activities”
Working together at a vet clinic together or being in a book club together, whichever one as long as it’s together.
Acts of Service
“where love is expressed through intentional, helpful actions that make a partner’s life easier”
Both Grant and Ahmad were there whenever they needed, no questions asked. And in some ways, vice versa. And now I want to read both of these again lol
