I can always count on Mia Sosa to show me a messy ass good time lmao This was messy af but also hilarious. There was so much happening and so much deception that I didn’t see how this was going to end in a HEA, but Sosa pulled it altogether. I actually had a good time with this.
This was so much fun. But it was also so messy lol ok so the drama is this girl is a self proclaimed starter ex. She goes out with dudes and is so terrible to them that the next person they get with, they’re in a happily committed relationship. She pushes him to the people who have hired her and then they stay together. And she’s been pulling this scam for a while. So imagine my surprised face when her sister hires her for a dude, she makes the move,…… And then falls for him. If you think it sounds like a hot mess, that’s because it is a hot mess lol I just knew her and her sister were going to be fighting by the end of this.
I would say I hated the way she was, but Vanessa was just really depressed. She never really had anyone REAL. All her real friends weren’t actually friends. It was sad. I’m not saying this makes it ok to manipulate people like that, but it makes a little more sense. Idk why Jason stood by and let it happen tho. That was crazy lol I would have thought he would cuss her out and walk away. But I had to keep reminding myself this was fiction. Because ain’t no wayyyyyyy lol
The entire time I was thinking, “Ohhhhh this is messay!” lol But then I would read something and literally LOL Like the book she gave him and told him to read? Yeah I was choke laughing by that point. But the time at the wedding with the dancing? And the wedding shower? Lordt I laughed loud and hard this whole book. Definitely a rom com and I loved every bit of it. I hope all of this is included in the written version that just came out.
Ok so this was cute! A REAL rom com. I hope they kept everything the same from now till the new version that just came out 3/17. I thought it was fun and romantic. Definitely a good time. I hope y’all pick it up!
