*MY THOUGHTS*
This wasn’t weird, it was just the weird timeline lol Y’all know how I am about weird timelines in books. They confuse me and I say I hate them, but I just can’t quit them. I might have to write more notes, but I will always read them lol
So this was a mix of crazy, cute, and bad all at the same time. The crazy was the timeline. I usually don’t love them, but this one was very easy to follow. As it turns out, they are dreaming and falling into them at that. It’s not like actual real time travel so I didn’t have any problem following along. What’s really happening is they’re traveling back to memories from throughout the time they’ve known each other.
The cute was the romance. I don’t want to say much, but just know, they’re adorable. I called it as soon as they were in the book together. And it’s weird because this trope isn’t usually my cup of tea. But I did have some doubts at some times tho. They did NOT take the easy way there. But it does become more and more obvious as the book goes on.
The bad was the memories. I was not expecting this book to go the way it did. I cannot tell you how shocked I was when we get to the memories and we see that things are not as they appear. It was not what I was expecting at all. I had no idea it was going to go down that path. And then there was the ending which was even crazier than that. I thought there was no way to get anything crazier. But Everett will make you re-think that lol
This was not the book I thought it was. But now that I’ve read it, it was the book I needed. I loved this and I really want y’all to pick this up. You might also find this is weird and that it goes off the rails, but trust the process. I know y’all will enjoy it!
Overall, I give this
