*LIFE READING UPDATE*: I went to TLA this month and it was so much fun. My first time interacting with people in so long. And I was still comfortable enough to be there because I was able to wear my mask without anyone judging me. Librarians are good people y’all. But anyway, I didn’t get the Fall books this time (they usually have Fall stuff there) but I think because of the shortage they were only giving out what they had on hand, and that was spring/summer things. Which I’m still grateful for of course! (But dammit I wanted my most anticipated of the year, Tiffany Jackson’s newest lol) I was able to get some awesome stuff, and I was able to pass out my business card, which I haven’t been able to do since I got this job in Collection Development lol Since I spent April reading mostly April and May releases, it proved to be a much better month than March was. But now there are 32184154187151 books that release in May and I am BEHIND. I don’t know that I’ll be able to start on June stuff this month. Well besides Wicked Beauty. I’m not going to miss THAT. lol
