*MY THOUGHTS*
Me and multiple POVs just don’t get along anymore. I used to not care how many of them there are, but now? If there’s too many people to establish it gets hella boring in the beginning and I just can’t. luckily this one wasn’t THAT bad.
Don’t get me wrong, I was bored in the beginning. So much so that I kept starting and restarting it over and over and over. I think I listened to the first chapter like 10 times. I remember it took like a couple days. And that was via the audio. The good thing tho, once it got going, it was good. Fast paced and all. It was just the multiple POVs bogging it down for me I think.
The ending was crazy af. I did guess the biggest plot twist. I didn’t guess who it was but that was because I didn’t give a damn about it lol There were too many people and too many different personalities. And since we’re only given a little at a time and all of them had a motive to lie, I didn’t even try. But the big thing at the end I knew it wasn’t over. I’ll just say that. It made for a pretty boring story. It was just weird af.
This wasn’t my favorite from Faridah, but it’s still ok. I’m still sending it out to the branches and the teens can be the judge. As of right now, this is not on MY list of favorites.
Overall, I give this
