This was wild? I wish y’all could see my damn notes for this lol They were legit all over the place. I didn’t even know what to expect from this weird ass book lol Now I don’t mean this in a bad way, but just know this is a crazy read lol
Ok so the plot of this was the part that was all over the place. I never knew where this was going. And even less so because I don’t actually read the synopsis of Bayron’s books anymore lmao But still, I thought it was interesting. They all had different powers and that was definitely cool. It felt a little info-dumpy at times trying to figure everything out, but after getting through that it worked. And I’m actually glad I had an ARC to go along with this audio, because I was a little confused. It was extremely helpful to go back and find where I was in the actual text.
The characters were crazy. *SPOILER* Her mama was a mess. Why did she act like that to them? She didn’t do anything but hinder them. I know she was trying to help them, but doing what she did was not the way to do it. *END SPOILER* The kids themselves tho was kinda crazy. Idk why y’all just kept doing all this. Just because you wanted to hunt some ghosts? Let me tell you something, I would have left those ghosts where they were lmao It left them open to too much. And they thought it was going to be something else. Smh Yeah look what you walked into lol
This was crazy. It went from regular ghost hunting, to supernatural ghost hunting, to fantastical ghost hunting. It really was all over the place. But it worked. it was really reminicist of the other horror book she did. It really was crazy. But somehow in the end I was crying too? This was a trip for real, so I need more of y’all to read it and make sure I’m not crazy lol
