Y’all should never have let me find out that Alexa will read to me. Because listen, I don’t know how to read regularly anymore. I just don’t have the time. But since this baby, KU and audiobooks have been my saving grace. I will listen to them here, I will listen to them there, I will listen to them anywhere. And have no qualms about it! (Also, The Return is YA and the first line of the synopsis says “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder meets One of Us is Lying” and that’s all I needed to see thank you kindly.
I tried waiting until it hit KU, but it took too long. And I been waiting for this since she first announced it, soooo here we are. It was more than i wanted it to be, but still
Just to reiterate, I support the HarperCollins Union and their fight for a fair contract, but I just don’t feel like I can block out marginazlied authors who will be hit harder than others for less or no marketing on their part. So, for those that are from HarperCollins and those that are by marginalized authors, I have blocked the title, but not the name of the author.
