When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella’s side of the story. At last, readers can experience Edward’s version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun.
This unforgettable tale as told through Edward’s eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire. As we learn more fascinating details about Edward’s past and the complexity of his inner thoughts, we understand why this is the defining struggle of his life. How can he justify following his heart if it means leading Bella into danger?

*MY THOUGHTS*

When I first read the Twilight series I was already in college. Almost everyone read them before I did. (Even my mom.) I was just always skeptical of the vampire thing. But then the movie was coming out so I gave it a try. And just like that, I was hooked. I was hoping for that same feeling in this one, but unfortunately I didn’t get that feeling at all.

Bella Swan is the new girl. She’s disrupted everyone and everything in Forks, Washington. Including a family of vampires who have created a safe coven there. This story is Twilight from Edward’s POV. He’s fascinated that she’s not as scared he thinks she should be and he wants her to stay far away. But can he push her away when she already means so much to him?

Ok, so this wasn’t bad… But it also wasn’t great. It wasn’t bad because I was already invested in the story and I had some background with it. But the actual book itself was… not. It was repetitive and since it was repetitive it went on way too long. Like really?! 22 CD’s? It was unnecessary. It was alot of watching her sleep and trying to get rid of her lol

I DID like the ending. I always wondered what they were doing when they were trying to figure out where she went. It was good to finally get both sides of the story, finally. And it makes me wonder is she going to keep milking the cash cow and finish the series from his POV.

As for the characters, I still liked all the same ones (Alice and Jacob are THE BEST STILL) and I still hated all the same ones. Like for real, if I didn’t know I hated Rosalie, it was completely evident in this one. She was so annoying. And I get her reasons, but that doesn’t change the fact that Bella is human and you should be helping her no matter what. Especially if you say no one helped you. But I digress.

I don’t really feel like this is a real review since this is something that I’ve read before, just in a different way… And way back when I was in college. But it felt great to be back with my favorite characters and to be back in Forks, but I’m still glad I made it through 22 CD’s and it’s finally over.

Overall, I give this
