*MY THOUGHTS*
This was purely a cover check-out lol I had saw this on Libro but I didn’t have enough credits, so I went and got it from the library. All because I liked the cover and the synopsis. I was glad I came across this because it was so good. I bit off all my nails while reading it lol
Ok so the plot of this was crazy and I definitely had to suspend my disbelief in some of this because Lordt EVERYTHING happened in this book lol But I will say it kept me entertained. It was so much going on. Shout out to the author tho for doing all of this and still making this book hard to put down. Not only was the plot good, but the writing style was too.
And the pacing was crazy. As you read you know it’s going to go 0-60, but it did that and then more lol It went to 70 to 80 to 90 to 100 lol And then it just never let off the gas. I ended up biting my nails off while reading. With that being said tho, this is MG, but I would say upper MG and Lower YA. But of course, it can still be either way.
The characters were all over the place. I won’t say who they were because some of them are surprises and some of them are, well, just really bad people. I won’t say anything else because of spoilers, but if you just read the synopsis, you will know exactly who it might be. There’s a lot of other people that come through and it made it so much more crazy. I promise you, you won’t know who to trust.
This was so good! I’ve found some really amazing MG in this last year! I know y’all don’t always read it, but pick this one up and let me know what you think. I need to know I’m not alone in binge reading this lol
