How do you feel about the current state of romance novels? ??
I’m not sure what you mean? I’m not a huge fan of the tropification of them, but that’s mostly a thing that happened because of the readers. If you mean the way they’re written, I don’t exactly mind. There’s some out there that I love and there’s some out there that I don’t like. And there’s some out there that just sound so damn good that I just don’t have time to get to.

I felt like this question could be interpreted many ways. I feel like the state of romance novels is doing just fine. They’re not going anywhere. I like that we have so many different “levels” or subgenres to choose from as well.
