Book Blogger Hop: Red Herrings, and Unreliable Narrators, and False Protagonists, OH MY!

Which plot twist is your favorite?

All of the ones that turn up in mysteries and thrillers. Red Herrings, the Unreliable Narrator (unless they’re only unreliable because they drink too much or do too much drugs), and then the False Protagonist. Out of all of them, I would have to say False Protagonist is my favorite. It’s always a rush when you figure out that that one person was the wrong one the whole time! I love it so much! (P.S. I almost put some recs here, but then I realized we were talking about plot twists and I didn’t want to risk spoiling anything for anyone lol)

What about you? Which plot twist is your favorite? Do we share any of the same? Let me know in the comments!

  1. OOoh the unreliable narrator! That’s a doozie! I had questions about the narrator in one book I read earlier this year. I mean, the plot twist was obvious as I think it was mentioned in the blurb/cover description but there have been times when you wonder. Like when the narrator can’t remember what they did at a certain time! I read a book like that last year and was blown away by the ending! Lol.
