What’s your biggest pet peeve about the book community?
Recommending a book you haven’t read. If you’re going to add it to a rec post or something, have the decency to say “I haven’t read it.” Or if you haven’t read it in a while, “It’s been a minute since I read this so I don’t really remember all the details.” Something of that nature. Because it kind of sucks to go into something and there’s something out of left field that no one warned you about.

What about you? What do you think of recommending books before you’ve read them? Let me know in the comments!

Oh that’s a good one! I would never recommend a book I’ve never read, but I would say it’s in my TBR pile so I hope to read it soon (if that were the case!). If asked about certain titles I’m always honest: never read it, didn’t like it, loved it, or it’s in my TBR pile. That is the basis of my answers and obvious I would give more detail to the first two! Lol.
