*MY THOUGHTS*
In true Kimberly Lemming fashion I had a ball reading this. I hated having to put it down. This definitely stood up to the first one. If you’re wondering, it’s just as unhinged and weird LOL This one has an added level of unhingedness in it because of the thing that happens at the end tho lol
Ok so I have to mention this because y’all know how I am about enemies to lovers. But I really did not care about the romance. She didn’t like each other for most of it. How they made it to being in love I’ll never know. And then on top of that, they ended up together. I just didn’t believe it. Even with them being forced together. It just felt weird. She was so adamant in saying no, it just didn’t seem like she was really all in.
The plot tho was a lot like the first one. And that worked out just fine for me. I was intrigued the whole way. And the ending? And that huge thing lmao So random but also so effective. it would have scared ts outta me lmao I don’t want to say more because of spoilers, but I gotta say I love whatever is wrong with Kimberly Lemming.
If you’ve read the first one, you know about the humor that Lemming uses in each read. This one is no different. I laughed so long and so loud my husband came to check in on me and see what I was laughing at lol So if this is your favorite part like it is mine, I can assure you she doesn’t shy away from the humor in this one either.
Just like the first one, this was a weird ass book. You already know I’m going to tell y’all to go pick it up, so please go do that! I need someone to talk to about that ending lol This was a hot good mess and I think everyone should experience at least once. I hope’ y’all listen to me and go read it!
