For the first printing only! This paperback features stenciled sprayed edges while the special edition supply lasts.
Love & Gelato meets Emily in Paris in this sassy, sexy romp through the Amalfi Coast starring a boy-crazy teenager trying to make something real with her on-again-off-again guy before realizing the best things in life—like love and vacations—can’t be planned for.
Soraya is so close to getting the boy of her dreams to finally pay attention to her—she’s sure of it. She’s finally graduated from high school, glowed up, and is ready to show her on-again-off-again, secret situationship Wes what he’s missing out on. And when she learns that Wes is heading to Italy on a trip with his fraternity brothers, Sora decides that there’s no better place to reignite a romance than the Amalfi Coast!
Under the guise of a graduation Euro trip with her friends, Soraya’s plan is make memories with her besties during the day, make out with Wes at night, and make sure she comes out of this vacation with the title of Official Girlfriend and Grown College Girlie. But vacations can be messy, and romances messier—especially when you’re keeping secrets from your friends, discovering your dream boy may be a nightmare, and spending more and more time with the sweet, wholesome, and supremely cute Italian boy whose family runs the B&B.
For a girl who’s a true believer in sure things, Soraya has to learn the hard way that there really is no planning for love—or an epic vacation.

*MY THOUGHTS*

I knew from the cover alone this was going to be a fun little ride. And sure enough, it definitely was. I was so jealous of Soraya. She was a spoiled brat who got to do all her growing while she was all the way in Italy. I had to do mine as a kid and right in my own house LOL

Soraya was a hot mess lol I’m saying she GOT ON MY NERVES. She was supposed to be the one with the lists and to make sure everyone knows to stay on task, but like she was also the one breaking out to go with a boy and not following her own advice. I was worried she was going to let this boy give her bad memories about this trip. And he definitely does, but thankfully she got it together at the end. Her friends were also a hot mess, but way less so. Well that we know of. They’re going on a backpacking trip across Europe and this one was only Soraya’s story. I’m hoping we get her friends’ POV in different countries.

The setting was bomb tho. I’ve never been to Italy, but the cover was beautiful and the way the author described certain scenes was beautiful too. It’s books like this that make me remember why my blog name is my blog name. I never went places when I was younger, so I did most of my traveling by book. And this book took me away to the most magical whimsy part of Italy. I already can’t wait to see where they go next.

The romance was sweet. I knew where it was going as soon as the story started. Well I hoped it would end up there anyways. I didn’t want to see her with that other dude. Lordt knows he didn’t deserve her then or now. But the other romance was actually good and I knew it would do her chaotic soul good. Which was exactly why I think she was so scared of it. She latched on to the first thing that made her feel something, no matter what feeling it was.

This was an entertaining romp around Italy! If you’re looking for a Wanderlust type story for teens that will take them on a rom com type ride, please pick this up!

Overall, I give this
