These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!
Today’s Theme: Meeting at Parties
This one kind of caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting to use this in a 2 for Tuesday at all. But this one just jumped out at me. I actually read these two back to back when I realized that I could use these. This maybe a spoiler, so look away if you haven’t read either one or both…. But in both of these, there’s a party at the beginning and they meet their new love interest. And tho it doesn’t seem like it, especially in this one, it happens. Because LOL I’m just gonna say it. He was an asshole. And I couldn’t believe that they still ended up together lol
These two characters also found each other at a party. It was much different than the other one, but it still happened and I just thought it was funny that I read these so close together. In this one, someone else was the asshole, and I knew from the moment they locked eyes on each other they were going to end up together. I knew they were end game just like he did. Fun fact, In AFS the party was her engagement party to someone else, and in TCBU, it was a Christmas party!
