I saw these at Michaels when I went with my hubs and I couldn’t like leave without them, so I grabbed them and then went home and ordered some other things from Michael’s that my store that they didn’t have, like the stickers that go with it. If you know me, you know planners and books are my weakness, so I HAD to have these.
Support Black Authors and their Stories. My way of supporting is my #OwnVoices Collection. I try to read books that have some diverse characteristic, and if it is in some way showing me, I buy the book and ask for an ARC from #booksfortrade. I have been working on beefing up my collection for so long now, that it’s big enough for me to have to put some of it at my mom’s house and some are here in my library. And some I even left out of this picture on accident because I have so many. In short, there’s no reason to not have these on your recc lists or even your TTT lists. Support these authors and their stories!
Black Lives Matter. That’s it. That’s All. That’s the Caption. I spent my #Blackout Tuesday sharing Black Owned Business Lists, ordering more books by Black Authors, and reccing more Black Books to my people over on FB. Because even though there are a few people in this part of my life who need to see it, there are WAY MORE who need to see it on that side.
Did you get any of these books this week? Have you read any of these?
