This bookish meme tells the blogosphere what we’re waiting patiently (and sometimes not so patiently) for! It’s hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine!
High school senior Frank Li is a Limbo–his term for Korean-American kids who find themselves caught between their parents’ traditional expectations and their own Southern California upbringing. His parents have one rule when it comes to romance–“Date Korean”–which proves complicated when Frank falls for Brit Means, who is smart, beautiful–and white. Fellow Limbo Joy Song is in a similar predicament, and so they make a pact: they’ll pretend to date each other in order to gain their freedom. Frank thinks it’s the perfect plan, but in the end, Frank and Joy’s fake-dating maneuver leaves him wondering if he ever really understood love–or himself–at all.

Why I’m Waiting: I love anything and everything contemporary romance and I would only read that if I could lol So imagine how happy I was when I saw that there was a book coming out from one of the authors’ husband who I already know and love! And I mean come on, that obviously means I trust him a little bit lol And I love that the title is a pun! I say I hate them, but when they’re done really well (like this one lol) I make exceptions. Not so much so for my co-worker who does them all the time smh lolol
What about you?
What are you waiting on this week?
Will you be waiting on this with me?
Cute pick! I was wondering if that was that was Nicola's husband…or brother or some relation! Lol. Hope you enjoy it once you get to read it!

Don't love the cover but I'm so excited for the Yoons!
I'm waiting for this one as well! I love Nicola Yoon's books and I have high hopes for David Yoon! And, to be perfectly honest, I love puns, even some of the more cringe-worthy ones!
