Why I’m Waiting: Y’all know I’m not a novel in verse kind of girlie, BUT this cover is amazing. And man the last paragraph of this synopsis is literally everything that I love in books. Black joy, mental health rep, and a Black author whom I adore! I am hella excited about this book and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. And can we talk about this cover? Because I think this is my favorite cover of 2023 so far! I love everything about this!
