I’m finally back! Sorry, sorry! I said it was just my kid sick, but when I finally got back, it was also me who was sick. I had a messed up tummy for like 24 hours and I couldn’t do anything except sleep. I don’t really remember anything besides waking up with the shivers and a tummy ache. Butttt now I’m back and I feel better. I’m still trying to be careful with what I’m eating, but not what I’m reading! Give me all the disturbing things! Which is why I used this as my WoW:
Kristen Simmons’s masterful breakout novel for young adult readers that’s “Jumanji but Japanese-inspired” (Kendare Blake) about estranged friends playing a deadly game in an eerie folkloric underworld.
Four years ago, five kids started a game. Only four survived.

Why I’m Waiting: I won’t sit here and act like it was a hard choice for me to add this to my TBR…. All i needed to see was the blurb from Kendare Blake lol And the title is amazing too. Just basically all of it was good and now I need to read it yesterday. I’ll be requesting this soon! Hopefully I win one of the giveaways I entered lolol

Ooh nice! I was actually looking at this one not too long ago! I was intrigued but my overflowing TBR pile held me back from requesting it! I might wait for reviews to trickle in! I love the idea of being sucked into a game! It’s reminiscence of Jumanji yes, but I also remember a favorite book of mine, The Forbidden Game trilogy (which oddly I think might have been around the time of Jumanji in publication time) also has that dangerous game that sucked you in! So yes, I am definitely keeping an eye on this one!
