Why I’m Waiting: Again I have an anthology this week. I’m still not a huge fan of them, but when it’s certain subjects, I give in. And this is one of them. Especially with me having a son now. (Yes he is only 10 weeks old, but he deserves to know what Black Boy Joy is too!) Plus, just look at that damn author list! There’s so many of my favorites: Jason Reynolds, Kwame Mbalia, Lamar Giles, and more!
What about you? Will you be waiting on this? Do you like anthologies? Let me know in the comments!
OOh nice! It’s funny, wayyyyyyyy back when, before I started blogging even, I used to LOVE anthologies! It was what I read since there wasn’t anything to actually read back then. I ended up finding a few favorite authors that way! Hope you enjoy this collection once you get to read it!
