#1 New York Times bestselling author Adalyn Grace delivers a sensational conclusion to the deathly and decadent Belladonna trilogy, with dramatic twists and a seductive new romance that will set readers’ hearts ablaze.
Blythe Hawthorne has never let anyone tell her what to do—not society, not her overprotective father, and certainly not the man she’s bound herself to, no matter how rude and insufferable he is. In fact, she’s determined to be a thorn in his side for the rest of her days, even as he ensures that her life in his palace is anything but a fairytale. But as Blythe discovers a new side of herself linked to his past, she’ll have to decide if she’s willing to let an unexpected spark ignite…and to discover the truth about who she really is.

*MY THOUGHTS*

Ok so I think this one is my favorite of the series. Which is weird because I didn’t like either one of these characters at the end of Foxglove. Tbh I didn’t trust any of them either. But I trusted Signa so I went with it. And it was no where close to what I was expecting.

This is such a weird one for me to rate because I loved the magic and the beauty and the cold and the world, but I still wasn’t sold on the other side of this, the romance. And since this is a romantasy, this could be the thing to make or break my opinion on this one. Fortunately, I enjoyed this one’s magic enough not to really care that I didn’t care for the romance. The way Aris was able to build entire worlds out of nothing was so cool! But with that being said, I wish we got to see more of why he could do those things. I loved the way that Fate was incorporated, and the way the different tapestries were explained. But that was really it.

The romance was what made me rate this the way I did. I’m not a huge fan of enemies to lovers, so I was annoyed that their banter went on so long. And I just want to say, that at no time did I know where this series was going, so this being the ending story was not what I saw coming. I wanted to see Signa and Death throughout this entire story, so imagine my surprise when I realized that’s not what was happening. I REALLY need to start reading the synopsis.

There’s a new goddess that comes to town and she was so annoying. I thought her character was bad ass but she barely got to scare them. And then in the end when things got really interesting it was only for a short while. Idk if this is going to get me another book squeezed out of this, but still.

I don’t want to say anything else for fear of spoilers, but just know that I enjoyed this entire series and I hope y’all pick it up. Definitely some a great finished historical romantasy series to sit and enjoy as the weather gets colder.

Overall, I give this
