This bookish meme tells the blogosphere what we’re waiting patiently (and sometimes not so patiently) for! It’s hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine!
Evalyn Ibarra never expected to be an accused killer and experimental prison test subject. A year ago, she was a normal college student. Now she’s been sentenced to a month in the compass room—an advanced prison obstacle course designed by the government to execute justice.
If she survives, the world will know she’s innocent.
Locked up with nine notorious and potentially psychotic criminals, Evalyn must fight the prison and dismantle her past to stay alive. But the system prized for accuracy appears to be killing at random.
She doesn’t plan on making friends.
She doesn’t plan on falling in love, either.

Why I’m Waiting: 1. IT’S A NEW ADULT NOVEL IN A GENRE OTHER THAN ROMANCE. 2. Anything with “notorious and potentially psychotic criminals” in the synopsis has my vote. I will be reading this one for sure!
Oooh awesome! Yeah, it seems all New Adult lately are about finding romance. And I'm like really? That's all? Nothing paranormal, nothing odd?
It keeps me wondering if I should dub my book a New Adult Urban Fantasy or just Urban Fantasy. The main character is 24, the hero is 27…ish, so I'm left wondering what I should call it because it seems all NA is romance. And my book is definitely not about discovering romance!
Sorry for the rambling! But your previous comments on your WoW pick got me going! 😀
