Today’s Theme: Unexpected Guests at November Dinners
I’m not even going to lie to y’all… I added this to my TBR because of the cover and because I saw the author said it was messy. And y’all know I’m nosey lol So I immediately pre-ordered it. And let me tell you once I finished reading it, I realized the author wasn’t lying. The main character, Sin, goes to her ex’s mama’s house for Thanksgiving. This one was extra messy because there’s 2 unexpected guests that come up. Both of which made me say “Oh shit!” lmao But only one is in a good way. The other??? Uh not so much. But that was what made this so entertaining lol
I know Thanksgiving was last week, but I chose these anyway because of the this one. This one is set over “Friendsgiving” a thing they did as college alumni friends, so I thought this one still counted. This one only has one unexpected guest, but its a good one. And to think this started all over some lemon pie?! lmao But I knew as soon as that person walked into the door it was going to be something that went down and sure enough….. These unexpected guests don’t come without their share of drama lol This one’s drama includes a man child and someone having to clean up a bathroom lol If you think you know what I’m talking about here, no, no you don’t. I can assure you unless you’ve read it you have no idea lol
