Two for Tuesday: Set in Paris

These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!

Today’s Theme: Set in Paris

The Olympics are still going strong and they’re in what used to be one of my favorite places, Paris! Funny that there’s two books that are high on my TBR that are set there! And they both come out next month. I didn’t even realize it until the Olympics started lol But now that I know, I want to read them both while all eyes are on Paris. Urban’s book is a thriller set in the catacombs. That’s already creepy enough for me lol But there’s teens that get stuck down there FOR DAYS and yeahhhhhh, absolutely not lol

This one is actually a romance. It also has students, but no one gets lost. (At least I don’t think lol) For the most part there’s a girl who falls for her grumpy tutor. I’m hella excited for this because I love me a fish outta water story. I hope it gives us a very good look at the city of love. I heard there was also some history of Josephine Baker and I’m excited to look into that. I love when YA books teach the YAs about people they have no idea about lol (I say this because when we used Love Radio at work we had someone ask about who Prince was soooooooo yeah, this is comical to me lolol)

Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.
