These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!
Today’s Theme: Meaningful Metal…
I can honestly say I didn’t put two and two together on using these two until I finished this one. And that was at like 12 am lol But I realized that both of these thrillers have meaningful metal or necklaces that are very important to the main characters. And both of them are left behind at the place where something significant happens. In this one, the main character’s necklace first belonged to her mother. It was a gift from her dad during her quince. It now belongs to the main character…. However, it’s found “broken and dented” with blood on it in the place where she went overboard.
For this one, I’m going to give y’all a heads up…. These girls will stress you tf out. I remember being mad as hell at them for ignoring every single red flag there was. In this one, one of the main characters receives a necklace from her boyfriend. She loves it, but as the story goes on, she realizes just how much she and the necklace are worth. And let me just tell you, none of them were worth anything. This book was good, but Lordt be prepared to yell. And know that they don’t listen. I want to tell you more, but I don’t want to give it away. I hope y’all read it to dins our more about this book. This one is a good one.
