These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!
Today’s Theme: Life of the Party
I’m not sure how to do today’s without spoiling something… This one just came out so I want to give people some time to read this one. So I’m just going to say read both of them and tell me if you can guess what this theme means lol I can also say both scenes in both books were my favorite parts of the book. I damn near applauded at the way they got away…..”unscathed.” LMAO This party had an extra factor to it, so let me know if you catch it. I need to know if anyone else was a little worried like I was LOL I just knew that was going to turn into an actual thing.
This one I was also worried about, but less so. Hendrix could have mopped the floor with ol girl. In fact I was expecting her to the whole book. But they made it work. And let me just say, loud music for these parties worked wonders LMAO If y’all have read either one of these and know what today’s theme is, put the phrase, “it’s party time” in the comments. I know I can’t be the only one who realized this when I read them. Just like I also know I’m not the only one who tabbed these scenes in their books lol Ugh both of these were so good!
