These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!

Today’s Theme: It’s Fall Y’all!
Happy Fall Y’all! I really have a love hate with this time of year. When I tell you this time of year makes me really sick, I’m not kidding. I have really bad allergies and every single year this time gives me a scratchy throat, stopped up nose, and sometimes even a sinus infection. But on the flip side of that, I LOVEEEEE the cozy vibes, the colors, and all that. But most of all, I always love the books that come out this time of year too. From the ones that give scary to cozy vibes. Which brings me to today’s books! I read Falling Like Leaves and thought it was really cute! It’s a YA book set in a small town with the cutest romance! And there’s so many Fall activities, from pumpkin carving to hay-rides and more. [This is a YA book and is out now!]
This was another book that I really loved. It’s set in the 90’s and all the small nods to different things from that era really made this book for me. It was a thickum but it moved so fast! It’s a slow burn, small town romance, with a single dad. He’s a baker and she’s running the inn that her mom had. And y’all they mention one of my favorite movies, the original Scream! The random mention of the Ghost face costume is so funny to me. Its just that nowadays, it does not represent what it used to lol [This is an adult book and it’s out now!]
Both of these are so wholesome and they had the best Fall vibes! I hope if you’re looking for more Fall-ish books, I hope that y’all pick one of these up!
Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.
If You’ve Already Read Those, FALL INTO one of these Autumn Reads!
**Please not that some of these are not out yet, some of them are YA, and some of them are on KU!**
