Two for Tuesday: It’s All in the (Tarot) Cards!

These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!

Today’s Theme: It’s All in the (Tarot) Cards!

Usually when I see books about tarot cards, they’re attached to adult books. (Because y’all know I don’t read that much fantasy…) In fact I just read Glory Be and there was a tarot reader in that one lol But these two are YA and I wanted to talk about these since its kind of rare. This one is a contemporary romance. I haven’t read it, but it seems like the tarot cards play a big part in it since they’re on the cover there. It seems like there was already a drawing as well. I wonder if those are the cards she pulls in the book.

This one also has tarot cards. I haven’t read this one either since it comes out in May, but this one has a missing girl after she gets the Death card. And welp, that was all I needed to know. The cover of this one also has one of the cards on it. And now here I am trying to figure out what my tarot cards would be. However I’m too afraid to get any of the ones that they got since both of these have “scary” words in the title, like “Disasters” and “Death.” lol

Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.

More Books Based on Tarot Cards

For this one I did things a little different. These first two have tarot card readings, but the plot doesn’t depend on it. (Well a little in Well Traveled, but you get the picture lol) And the last two here are for those that the plot depends on them heavily. And I wanted to include them because look at the covers! Ugh I need to read these ASAP! (I’ve only read the first two lol)

Have you heard of these two? Will you be adding them to your TBR? Have you ever gotten a tarot card reading? Let me know in the comments!
