Today’s Theme: House of Horrors!
So a couple weeks ago I said I came up on the weirdest connection yet with the Haunted HGTv one. But Idk, I think this one is going to give it a run for its money lol This one is more common, but I think it’s still pretty weird. Because really, I imagine it has to be weird to live at a funeral home lol In this one, Meka has her world torn apart and that person is brought right to her doorstep. And then weird things start to happen at her home, like mysterious things showing up at her door and weird things happening with the corpses…… This book is so good! [This book is YA and is out today!]
In this one, Mystery James was found abandoned in a cemetery and raised in the funeral home. In this one, things start to go missing from people’s loved ones and Mystery has to find a way to clear her Tia (and her funeral services’) name. So what do you think she does??? She goes looking for the necklace. As she’s uncovering things she runs into a half ghost, half vampire a grave robber, and so much more. She has chores and things she should do in the funeral home as well. Just like in any regular home. Mystery reminded me so much of Wednesday Addams! This book is a creepy cool and I loved it. [This book is MG and is out now!]
**Note: I am aware that not every book where the main character lives in a funeral home is a horror book, but it fit for this week!**
