Today’s Theme: Creepy Cryptids!
Did I ever think this was going to be a theme? lol no. But cryptids are cool so I’m not even mad. If you don’t know, cryptids are “animals (such as Sasquatch or the Loch Ness Monster) that has been claimed to exist but never proven to exist.” –Merriam-Webster The cryptid in this one was Bigfoot. If you’ve never heard of Bigfoot, he is a huge, hairy creature with a human like stature. But even tho, as big as he is, he’s never been seen. He’s seen in this one a little, but he’s mostly smelled lmao And not in a good way. This was a fun creepy intro to cryptids. I had so much fun reading this! It’s very different from the other cryptid book tho! [This is a MG book.]
I haven’t read this one yet, as it come out next week. This one is a romantic comedy. Hallie is in search of a job when she gets roped into being on a web show about cryptids. She brings the skepticism while he is the resident cryptid expert. While they’re searching for the Bigfoot, the Mothman, and more, they also find love. Yeah this sounds weird and just up my alley. I hope they actually “find” something too. [This is an Adult book.]
