These themes will vary! It could be based off of some book mail I just received, pop culture, something personal to me, a headline from the news, a trend I noticed when I was buying books for my library system, etc. I hope you stick around to see all the themes and book recs I come up with!

Today’s Theme: Books with Bite!
Yes I do mean that literally lol In both of these vampire books someone gets bitten. HOW they’re bitten is another story. In this one, the romance is between a human and vampire. They have a super cringey meet cute (so obviously it’s cute lol) and end up coming up with a deal. The paranormals have just made themselves known to the world, and as an Advice Columnist, the human needs some help in order to help them. And yeah, the human lies about why he needs help, and the vampire already despises him for a mishap that happened from before when they had no idea about the paranormals. Soooo yeah, it was a hot mess and full of drama and I really enjoyed this actually lol [This is an Adult book and is out now!]
This one is a bit different. This is the second in a duology and in it, there is so much drama. Once one thing is finished, something else starts again. It legit is a roller coaster read. But something is still taking over the city and they have to find what it is. Along with the one person who is still missing. It really is a lot and I’m not sure I get it all, but for the most part, I like it. I’m about 85% done as I’m reading this, so I’ll have a review soon. But I will say this, get ready to binge this because the action doesn’t stop. No one warned me and I finished this in two sittings lol [This is a YA book and is out today!]
Well, there you go! Here I’m just going to talk about why I grouped these two books together. I hope you enjoyed a look at this small part of the books. For a full synopsis of the book or to add it to your TBR, click the picture and it will take you to their Storygraph. The link on the caption will take you to it’s Goodreads.
More Books with Bite!

Disclaimer: I have only read Hot for Slayer and Zom RomCom. I just downloaded The Vampire Who Tried It from KU and Eternal Ruin from Netgalley. Defanged is also on my TBR, but I’m waiting to get that from the library!

What about you? Have you read either of these? Will you? Let me know in the comments!
