Top 10 11 of my fave Books with Weddings!

Spring is a time for weddings! I chose this and I say this because my actual wedding anniversary is on Friday! So here’s my favorite bookish weddings with funny things that might happen, emotional things that might have happened, romantic things that might have happened, etc. I mentioned before that weddings are a buzz word in books for me, so this list might be all over the place. (But on another note, I’m TRASH for fake dates that are going to a wedding, so if you have recs for that, send them my way! & to clarify, I mean other people’s wedding, not their own.)

-Save the Date by Morgan Matson: There was so many hijinks and I remember laughing so much. This is definitely one of my favorite Matson’s. The only one better is one I try not to think of much because it hurts too much lol, Second Chance Summer.
-I’m So Not Over by Kosoko Jackson: A fake dating book where they’re going to a wedding. Heck yes I added this one. It also helped that they had a pretty cool date before going to the wedding too. Yeah it caused some drama, but it was still pretty cool!

-Count Your Lucky Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur: I HATED the miscommunication trope in this, but I LOVED all the wedding planning and the fact that we found out that Margot actually had a filthy mouth which we didn’t know before lol
-The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas: Again, another one where I had to add it because it features fake dating to a wedding. And man, this one was in Spain. And there is action at the wedding and a donut and yeah, the I liked that part lol

-The Wedding Ringer by Kerry Rea: Listen even though this book was about a wedding from false circumstances, it still makes a whole lot of sense that it ended up on this list. Because trust me when I tell you this book is funny, it’s a coming of age story, and it has a very cute romance. I can’t wait to see what else Rea has up her sleeve.
-We Can’t Keep Meeting Like This by Rachel Lynn Solomon: This was not a fluffy romance like the others, but it was still one that I couldn’t put down. And it’s about something so much bigger than weddings. The mental health rep in this is one for the books.

-The Worst Best Man by Mia Sosa: This sounds terrible of me, but this one has one of my fave weddings in it because it has one of the most memorable situations. I hate that she got stood up, but man it made for some entertainment when her and the other person got involved.
-The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory: I liked this one the most of the entire series. Drew and Alexa will remain my fave couple from this series. No debating.

-The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren: Again, this is unfortunate for them, but it made for some real entertainment for me. This wedding party that all got food poisoning and the two people who hated each other got to take the honeymoon together? I don’t remember a book that legit made me laugh this hard. So, so good.
-Maybe This Time by Kasie West: I loved the events and flower pairings in these and the wedding thing one was pretty cute. And I loved seeing how they did the food as well because y’all know I’m a self proclaimed foodie!

-Hooking Up by Helena Hunting: I know this is 11, but think of it as a bonus. This is another where it suckedfor the MC, but it was straight up entertainment for me. The embarrassment of hearing your soon to be husband getting it in with someone else? On your wedding day? OUCH. But seeing her end up with the real person she was supposed to be with was a huge plus. I remember binge reading the whole series after reading this one. (I had to go back and start at #1! So in case you’re interested, this is book #2!)

What about you? Do you like weddings in books? Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!
