Top Ten Most Recent Additions to my Book Collection
I didn’t get a single gift card or book for Christmas. People gave me a sound bar for the tv and things I can use in my home library, but not a single book was given smh lol Sooooo I’m going to tell y’all what I bought myself at the B&N hardcover sale!
So all of these are books are thrillers or romances and I think there’s one paranormal thriller. (Secrets So Deep) And although I’ve been saying I wanted to branch out, it doesn’t look like it’ll be happening in 2023 lmao Now the reason I went with these specific titles, depends on the book. The Truth About White Lies is ONLY rated by 2520s on the front page and they’re all mad about it. I haven’t seen a single person of color who read this and said they didn’t like it. *This is solely based on their profile pic if they have one and their “explanation” in their review. So basically, there has to be a reason right? We shall see. And all the others are all BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ so really I’m showing B&N that decision on buying less stock in marginalized books is ridiculous because these book SELL! I may be only one person, but if I can convince y’all to read them or buy them for my library and get my library teens talking about them, maybe they’ll buy them and see how bs that idea is. Yes I know I am one person and yes I know I may be screaming into the void, but I gotta try!

OOh nice ones! Lots of new to me ones except for Secrets So Deep! I can’t wait to read that one! Loved her first book! Hope you enjoy all of these new reads!
