Top 10 Mainstream Popular Authors that I Still Have Not Read
- Markus Zusak: Ok so hear me out….. You’re right, this librarian not having read this is strange lol But I think I started on my YA journey right after this book came out and I just have not had the time to go back to it. I will one day.
- Sabaa Tahir: Ok hear me out. I was not into the fantasy/dystopian thing back in the day, so I was not into it. And then All my Rage came out and I was going to read it….. And then my co-worker told me one of my triggers was in it. And so I couldn’t read that either.
- Nnedi Okorafor: Again I think it came out right before I got started looking for books online and not just reading/buying the stuff that’s in the store.
- Kristin Cashore: Again I wasn’t into the fantasy/dystopian thing so I missed all of this lol
- Angeline Boulley: Weirdly I OWN this author’s work, but I haven’t read it. Another one I found that has a trigger of mine in it.
- Veronica Rossi: I have tried reading this author, but again, not a fantasy fan. And then I just couldn’t get into anything else she wrote. This time it really was a not her, it’s me. Because she actually has so many fans.
- Christopher Paolini: I was always intimidated by the fact that the first book was super thick, so I just didn’t read it. And then when I got over it, I ended up just not wanting to read it lol
- S.E. Hinton: I wasn’t assigned to read this in school, so I just never did.
- James Dashner: Another dystopian i wasn’t exactly into lol
- Melina Marchetta: This one was kind of weird lol I have heard nothing but good things about this, so I added it to my TBR, but after so many years, do I REALLY want to read this???
What about you? Have you read any of these? Do you think I should give any of them a try? Let me know in the comments!
