Top 10 Favorite Books of 2020!

Tweet Cute came at just the right time, right after the Popeyes/Chickfila sandwich feud and I thought it was hilarious, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder had some issues, but it was still good. I still want to listen to the audio because it has a full cast. The Voting Booth has Black Love, an Insta-Famous Kitty, and a legit Black Family unit. I loved this so much. Cinderella is Dead is not your average Cinderella re-telling. And that’s exactly why it’s so much better than the others! Felix Ever After is an emotional story and is filled with all the things I love.

Stamped was like the only non-fic I’ve ever read and had a good time reading it. This is My America is set in my hometown, so it was LIT. The Roommate is one of the most unique books I’ve ever read lol Dear Justyce shows that Nic Stone can do no wrong. And Grown had me glued to the pages, cuz chileeeee that damn Corey!

Runner-Ups:

Long Way Down was one of my faves even before the graphic novel came out, The Black Kids is one of the very few historical fiction books I read this year that I actually really loved. And let’s be honest, it’s so sad that it’s still relevant. Clean Getaway was hella fun, filled with some interesting facts, and shows that Stone can not only write some YA, but also some MG too! And Cemetery Boys because man if you didn’t like this one or didn’t add it to your end of the year list, we need to talk about your reading tastes!

What about you? Did you read any of these? Are any of these your favorites too? Let me know in the comments!
