Top 10 Colorful Book Covers!

  1. Aru Shah and the City of Gold by Roshani Chokshi: Looking at the prompt for this week, I remember looking at my Nook and seeing what I was reading and knowing that I HAD to add this one. The cover is not only colorful, but it’s also beautiful!
    2. It’s Kind of a Cheesy Love Story by Lauren Morrill: The reason I wanted to read this book in the first place was the colorful way the cover looked. (And because there was pizza involved) It’s not super bright or flashy, but it’s got a really cool color scheme and I like it.

3. Every Body Looking by Candice Iloh: OBVIOUSLY had to include this one. I LOVE the color blocking!
4. Punching the Air by Ibi Zoboi and Yusef Salaam: It’s colorful and I love the way it looks when it sits on the white background with the black parts incorporated. It came out really nice.

5. Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender: This one was a no-brainer. It was actually the first cover I thought of. Like others, I’m usually not a fan of orange, (like do people really even say like orange is their favorite color? lol) but this bright color was eye-catching and I love the designs and colors and how they work together.
6. You Had me at Hola by Alexis Daria: I’m not sure this counts as colorful, but it sure is pretty! (To be honest, I think it’s the illustration more than the colors, but the colors are still bomb too!)

7. Not So Pure and Simple by Lamar Giles: I picked this one for obvious reasons lol Definitely super colorful and definitely super pretty.
8. Let Me Hear a Rhyme by Tiffany D. Jackson: Another one that I couldn’t leave off of a list like this. The cover is not only colorful, but also gives off 80’s vibes for its 80’s setting.

9. Piecing Me Together by Renee Watson: Not only are the colors amazing on this one, but the art and the way it’s illustrated (or designed?) makes the color scheme all the more better.
10. This Book is Not Yet Rated by Peter Bognanni: The red background kind of takes away from it, but I do like the way the spilled slushee and the candy works altogether as a color scheme.

What about you? What are your favorite colorful books? Any of them we share? Any of them that you agree with? Let me know in the comments!
