This week’s topic is:
Top 10 Books that Should be Adapted Into Netflix Shows/Movies!
-I would LOVE to see Gum Baby in a movie based on Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky by Kwame Mbalia
-With the road trip they went on in Clean Getaway by Nic Stone and all the secrets the grandma had, I think it would be cool to see it on the screen.
-I think seeing a little more background on why the riots in The Black Kids by Christina Hammonds Reed happened would make this a really good movie.
-The mystery in This is My America by Kim Johnson is enough to suck anyone in!
–I’ll be the One by Lyla Lee features a tv show anyway, so I think this would be an easy one to adapt to a tv show.
-Again, the mystery in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson is good enough for me to be intrigued enough to want to see it on the tv screen!
-It was very weird to see American Royals by Katharine McGee mention George Washington and his kids and iPhones, but with all the drama this book contains, I think it would be cool to see what in a movie. Especially the ending.
-SPOILER: A book about actual responsible teens winning the Lotto?! YES, PLEASE. If nothing else, Jackpot by Nic Stone would definitely be entertaining.
-A Disneyland like park with Princesses gone rogue? How could you NOT want to see that as a show?! The Kingdom by Jess Rothenberg would be pretty creepy and totally bad ass to see as a tv show.
-And finally, I think the concept of Lovely War by Julie Berry was AMAZING, but it was just entirely too long for me as a book.I think having it as a tv show could make it feel less long and could be a valuable history lesson as well.
What about you? What books would you like to see on your tv? Did you add any of these? Let me know in the comments!
OOh nice picks! All new to me ones too!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

I absolutely see the possibilities in many of these books (the ones I read), and I would love for them to adapt Jackpot and give me a bit more at the end. I really thought that was a 5-star but I needed more from that ending.
