Top 10 Books I’m No Longer Interested In!
-City of Souls by Cassandra Clare: I read the Infernal Devices and then went to the Mortal Instruments series. But then I got to this one and stopped. And although I keep adding them to my TBR, I’m not sure I’m interested anymore. First of all there’s way too many books now, and there’s also the fact that this series is way too long and should have been stopped on book 3.
-Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter: This one hurts because I definitely own this book lol But I’ve heard it’s nothing like Alice and after seeing that the rest of the series isn’t as good as the first anyway, I said I would pass.
-Real by Katy Evans: I was interested in this at one point, but there was some controversy with this book (I believe) and it made me change my mind.
-Triangles by Kimberly Ann Miller: I don’t remember seeing this book ANYWHERE, so I could never read it. I felt bad for not being able to get my hands on it because it sounded interesting, but it just wasn’t in the cards for me I guess.
-Prisoner of Night and Fog by Anne Blankman: I have never been a fan of historical fiction, so this should come as no surprise.
-Landline by Rainbow Rowell: Because…. yeah.
-Immaculate by Katelyn Detweiler: Another case of not you, it’s me. I remember thinking this synopsis sounded good, but definitely not what I’m into now. I like religion, but I don’t want anything too preachy, and there weren’t enough reviews to tell me how this one was, so I’ll pass.
-Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard: I really enjoyed the first one, but this one was not up to par. I thought I would put it aside for some time, but after awhile, I just kept looking past it. And I haven’t picked it up since.
-Lizzie by Dawn Ius: I was not a fan of her last book, so I’m not sure about this one. I keep putting it off, but I don’t want to pick it up because the fact that I didn’t like her other keeps playing in my head lol
-Given to the Sea by Mindy McGinnis: I haven’t liked a McGinnis novel since her debut. Another time when I haven’t felt ok picking them up because everytime I tried, I just didn’t care for it.
Have you read any of these? Should I change my mind? Let me know in the comments!
Glass Sword is one I want to read soon! I just can’t seem to make time for too many series in the TBR pile along with my review books. I keep trying to cull back what I accept for review but then I always see THAT title and I have to accept! Lol! In theory, I’d like to read the rest of the Red Queen series as soon as I am caught up on review books! Alice in Zombieland was one I enjoyed and finally finished last year with the “add-on” to the trilogy. It was pretty good all in all!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
