Top 10 Books I Meant to Read in 2020 But Didn’t Get To!
–Furia by Yamile Saied Mendez: It was a Reese Witherspoon book club pick… I could never get my hands on it lol
–Somebody Gives This Heart a Pen by Sophia Thakur: I know this is a reprint, but this version came out last year so I’m counting it lol
–A Universe of Wishes anthology: This made me mad because I thought it came out this year lol and then SURPRISE it came out last year. Hopefully I’ll find some time to get to it.
–The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix: I have heard some mixed things about this book and honestly, I’m hella curious lol
–Smash It by Francina Simone: I got to be the one who bought this for my library. Almost a month after it came out. I’m still waiting on my chance to read it.
–Trouble the Saints by Alaya Dawn Johnson: My library didn’t buy this one either. I had to request it.
–Far From Home by Becky Wallace: Once we had her visit my library’s Instagram Live in March, I had so many requests for her book. Problem was, it wasn’t out yet lol I ended up giving my ARC to my teens and they passed it around.
–Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston: My ARC of this was given as a SRP prize last year since the theme had fairy tales in it.
–Horrid by Katrina Leno: I don’t have a cute story for this one. It’s just basically I’m still on the hold list at my library lol
–Lobizona by Romina Garber: Again, I don’t have a cute story, I’m just still waiting for it lol
