Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish and is now run by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she will post a new Top Ten list . Everyone is welcome to join. This week’s topic is:
Bookish Goals for 2023
-Cross-posting
-Fixing my blog links: I’ve definitely neglected this since I moved to WordPress. I honestly forgot those links wouldn’t work anymore. So now I’ve got to fix them. Which is probably going to take the next 3-5 years lol (In the meantime, if you’re looking to see if I’ve reviewed a book, please use the search feature on my blog.)
-Talk to more people in the community! Y’all know how I am. I barely talk to anyone. I come here, talk about the books and leave. Talking to people makes me anxious lol
-Request physical ARCs: I’ve been doing this 12 years, and I think I’ve only requested the same amount of ARCs. Dumb that I’m trying to do so now when most books I read are audio and now that most pubs use digital ARCs, but whatevs.
-Read more MG: I buy YA and MG for work. I really need to read more.
-Re-read something (I’m thinking PJO since the new book comes out this year!)
-Continue to read diversely, but since I track my reading, I saw that one of my least read areas is disabilities/chronic illnesses.
-Continue to ONLY buy books if it depicts you somehow. I know I’m only a drop in the bucket, but I just feel like I’m showing publishers that there are people out there who love those books and they need to publish more of them.
-Read genres other than romance and thrillers lol
-Really TRY on the challenges I’ve joined this year. Because listen, I usually just read what sounds good and see if it fits the prompts later. Now I want to find the books based on the prompts if that makes sense.
What about you? Will you be doing any of these? Let me know in the comments!
Nice set of goals! I totally see you kicking butt on all of these! Good luck with your challenges!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
