TTT: Bookish Discoveries I Made in 2025!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish and is now run by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she will post a new Top Ten list . Everyone is welcome to join.  This week’s topic is:

-I like Historical Fiction as long as it’s specifically about a real person. I like to go back and look up things that I’ve found in the story.
-I learned more about time zones: This came about because of the work committee I was on. I’m going to do a full write up later, but yeah, I was scared to mess up and I was overly prepared for every meeting lol
-I realized my favorite horror is slashers because they’re the closest to thrillers.
-I don’t like body horror: I think since I have a body it makes it seem less fictional? I know that sounds weird af but it makes sense to me lol
-I will still read every genre as long as it’s YA
-I didn’t realize that so many of the books on my TBR were debuts lol It took me not being able to talk about them last year to realize that so many of them were on my TBR
-Notes are STILL the best thing to help me remember things about the books I read. After all the books I read last year, the ONLY thing helping me remember everything was the composition books filled with weird scrambling notes lol
-More of a Confirmation, but I am more Creative at night
-I think my favorite kind of post is my Two for Tuesday! I have so much fun looking for the different connections
-The other is the Random Reader’s Advisories where stuff is happening in the world and I made a random reader’s advisory surrounding it.

I’m pretty sure there’s more, but I can’t think of it right now…. If I think of them later, do y’all want to know what they are?

What about you? Do you see any of these that you also do? Have you done any of these as well? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Ooh nice! I’m always taking notes as well so I remember enough things to write a review. If it’s an ongoing series I end up writing a lot more about plot details to function as a recap of sorts! Those become life saving as well! Or more like sanity saving! Lol. Great list!

    Here’s my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!
