Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week’s Teaser comes from my current read “The Body Finder” by Kimberly Derting. Although this book has BEEN out, I’m still gonna do a “teaser” although I’m sure many of you bloggers might have read it.
“That was his first victim. He thought he’d done a better job of hiding her than that. And he probably had. He had no way of knowing that an eight-year-old girl with a special knack for finding dead bodies would come across her, butried there.” -pg. 166
Have you read this? What did you think of my teaser?
Hope you enjoyed!
Ohhh really? Ummm… no wonder I keep seeing this everywhere. Fantastic teaser!
omg, dark! Wow, this looks like a creepy read.
It's really not creepy! I thought it would be too, that's why it sat on my TBR pile for so long. It really surprised me though. You both should give it a try!
