Take Me Away’s Goals and Challenges for 2022!

  1. Read 185 Books Total
  2. Remember to post everywhere in a timely manner. (I’m mainly talking about Edelweiss and Netgalley lol I always forget and do it months later!)
  3. Bring my reviews and other blog content to TT
  4. Stop being scared to request things (if I want to be an influencer, I have to right?! So that means I can’t be scared to request the physical versions/audios of ARCs anymore!)
  5. And be more present on social media. After having my kid this year, my Twitter usage kinda dropped to nothing lol So I want to get back to being around and growing my account.

This one is kinda different. I am doing ALOT of challenges this year, but I’m only going to “officially” do the ones on my challenges of 2022 blog page. If you want to see ALL the ones I’m doing, let me know. I can flip through my challenges/book collage book journal and let you see what I’m reading. The ones I’m officially doing are:

The Popsugar 2022 Challenge

-My usual Take Me Away Challenge (where I keep track of the settings and the info I learn about them)

The usual Alphabet Challenge

-And the Book Riot Read Harder Challenge

The unofficial ones I’m doing are ones I’ve found on Twitter and Insta, like the Disney Reading Challenge and the Season challenges, like the current one I’m doing, Snow in Love!

Now this isn’t a challenge per se, but it will be a challenge for me… I want to do something I’ve never done. I want to keep a spreadsheet and keep my stats throughout the entire year and keep track of what I’m reading. This will be a challenge to me to make sure I don’t fall behind lol Maybe if I can keep up with this, I can keep up with posting my reviews everywhere. And to go along with this, not only do I want to keep up with my spreadsheet, but I want to keep up with my reading journals as well. (With a toddler this will be exhausting, but I believe in myself lol)

Lastly, I want to try reading as many celebrity book club books as I can. (If I’m interested.) This is really just to see what the hype is about. I made this decision after trying a couple of the YA picks for Reese Witherspoon’s book club. I liked 2 out of the 3 I tried, so I decided I would give her and other book clubs a try. Maybe the hype doesn’t make them terrible after all.

So basically I have a lot of reading to do next year. But I’m super excited to get started!

What about you? What are your goals for 2022? What challenges are you doing next year? Let me know in the comments!
