So funny story….. I am on a panel with him during ALA. I requested his book so I could think of some questions to ask from it. But everything that I’ve seen for our marketing so far has this book, not the one the publisher sent me. So basically I begged my co-worker for her copy that she got from TLA. I’ll return it after our panel. but like ugh I had everything planned out and I was supposed to be done with reading panel stuff by now. It’s not that its bad or I’m mad, I’m just thrown off schedule now lol

Oooh nice new reads! Lots of new to me ones! I did get The Last Vampire to read awhile ago as well! Not sure when I will get to it what with its December release. Probably closer to fall as now I’m trying to read a shorter book to tide me over until later this week for a new release for an author signing I want to go later this month! Like to try to read the books ahead of time and this is a tight turnaround for me! Lol. Should be doable, the problem will be finishing my current book too soon and still needing to read something until I can get to the bookstore, hopefully Friday!
That’s weird about getting a different book from the publisher for the panel! I would’ve thought they’d make sure to get you the right one! I can totally understand feeling thrown off by having read a different one than what’s likely to be more related to the panel discussion!
