Stacking the Shelves #471 & the Weekly Wrap-Up!

This bookish meme tells the blogosphere what all we borrowed, bought, and received for review. It’s hosted over at Tynga’s Reviews.

For Review:

This was from the author. I was invited to read and review their novel in verse. I agreed as it was about a Black person and mental health. And if you’re Black and have suffered with mental health at all, you know why this is something that I think the public needs to hear about it. I finished it early this morning while the kiddo was asleep, so I’ll be reviewing it tomorrow.

From the Library:

There’s a trend I’m noticing in YA of DNA tests and trying to find out more about their family. I read one earlier this year (This Golden State), I know one from Emma Lord came out last year, and The Truth Project was released like last year, and The Noh Family, which I just finished and it was wonderful, just came out. So basically, I’m here for the drama and I want to try them all!
